Wales Weekend @
Llandovery
Well what can i say.....it was
wet!!
But all said and done we all had a good few
days away and enjoyed the beautiful countryside of Llandovery
in Carmarthanshire.
Although the 3 days of showing between us
happy campers sadly only saw 1 good result ( Gill and
Dave Chandler's Maud got first in her class..well done Maudy!!)
the rest of the time we made the most of the bad weather, some
lovely home cooked breakfasts , dinners and barbecues and games
in Steve and Bev's Awning...thanks to you both for keeping us
all dry.
Before we all made our way back home we had a
lovely day out at the coast, local fish and chips were nice and
seeing the dolphins at New Quay was great ending with a nice
play for the dogs on the beach (apart from our Lulu who decided
to go for a little walk of her own..naughty
girl!!)
The site was ok, good dog walking area all
enclosed, nice little town with a cheap Somerfields, handy for
our provisions. Sadly the amenities could have been a little
better but we made the best of what was avaliable, they did the
job.
Well i hope those that were there enjoyed
themselves, we did, as it was nice to get away no matter what
the weather throwed at us and it was lovely to see everyone
helping each other out when it was
needed.
Many many thanks to Steve & Beverley for
the use of your van to get our caravan
there......
The Happy Campers......
